AP Lawcet 2024: Application starts for Law Common Entrance Test exam
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started the registration process of AP Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET 2024) for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes.
As per the latest official notification, AP Law Common Entrance Test exam will be conducted on June 09, 2024.

Important dates
- AP Lawcet Notification Release Date – 22 March 2024
- Date of Online Application – March 26 to April 25, 2024
- Application with late fee – 26 April to 29 May 2024
- Application correction date – 30 May to 01 June 2024
- Admit Card Released – 03 June 2024
- Exam Date and Time – 09 June 2024 (2.30 PM to 4.00 PM)
Educational qualification
- For the 5-year LLB course, candidates must have passed 12th class with 45% marks in aggregate.
- Relaxation of two percent in minimum qualifying marks will be given for OBC candidates and 5% for SC, ST candidates.
- For 3-year LLB, candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline and have obtained a minimum of 45% marks will be eligible to apply for the AP Law Common Entrance Test exam 2024. Relaxation in minimum marks for OBC, SC and ST candidates will be applicable for 3 years

- Backward Class – Rs 850
- SC – Rs 800

- Eligible candidates first visit the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
- Now click on AP LAWCET 2024 Registration link available on the homepage.
- Then register and complete the application form.
- Submit the required information and appropriate documents.
- To submit your application, pay the fee and save a copy of the application.
AP Lawcet Syllabus
The AP LAWCET 2024 exam will consist of three parts of the paper:
- In Part A, 30 questions will be asked on General Knowledge and Mental Ability. It includes topics like – History, Geography, Important Days and Dates, Indian Constitution, Puzzles, Series, General Science and Numbers.
- Part B will have 30 questions based on current affairs. Important Current Affairs Topics – New Appointments, National and International Awards, Legal Current Affairs, Political Developments, National and International Events.
- The third part has 60 questions of 60 marks on Legal Aptitude. Important Topics – Legal Aptitude Indian Constitution, Criminal Law, Torts, General Legal Awareness, Legal Terminology.

AP Lawcet (Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test) preparation requires a strategic approach to ensure success. Through this you can make best preparation for this exam:
- Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern. This includes the number of questions, marking scheme and duration of the exam.
- Then go through the exam syllabus and collect study material accordingly (textbooks, reference books, previous years question papers etc.).
