MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the fifth edition of Khelo India Youth Games. Khelo India Youth Games are organizing in 8 cities of Madhya Pradesh from 30 January to 11 February. A total of 27 games will be held in this tournament, in which 6000 players are participating. Kayaking and Canoeing sports have also been included in the 5th edition of Khelo India Youth Games.

Dutch player Anish Giri won the 2023 Tata Steel Chess tournament with his win over Richard Rapaport. Dutch player Giri has been runner-up in this event 5 times. Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2023 is the 85th edition of the annual chess tournament.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced ‘Laadli Bahna’ scheme at Budhni in Sehore district. Under this scheme, one thousand rupees per month will be given to the dear sisters. A grand medical college built in Budhni district at a cost of Rs 400 crore. The ‘Ladli Bahna’ scheme is valid for all categories of women.
