Answer – Shanti Niketan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said through a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) that Shanti Niketan has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Shanti Niketan is a small town near Bolpur in Birbhum district of West Bengal. This city is situated 100 kilometers north of Kolkata. The city is famous for the establishment of Visva-Bharati University by poet Rabindranath Tagore.
Question 2. When is Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrated?
Answer – 17 September
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ on September 17, 2022, on completion of 75 years of independence. This day marks the merger of Hyderabad (today’s Telangana) into India. The duo of Sardar Patel and KM Munshi had worked to connect this vast area of Telangana, Kalyan Karnataka and Marathwada with India.

Indian Coast Guard observed ‘International Coastal Cleanup Day’ across all coastal states and union territories this 16th September. This day is organized across the world every year on the third Saturday of September. In the South Asian region, the event is organized under the auspices of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the South Asia Co-operative Environment Program (SACEP). Indian Coast Guard has been participating in this program since 2006.

This OPD was inaugurated at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. In this, free treatment, screening and sex change surgery along with other facilities will be available for the transgender community.

Answer – Bharat
Bharat has won the cup by defeating Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the final of Asia Cup 2023. This final match was played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Sri Lanka, for which there was also a reserve day. But Indian bowlers ended this ODI match in 16 overs only. Due to Siraj (6 wickets), Bumrah (1 wicket) and Hardik Pandya (3 wickets), the Sri Lankan team was reduced to 50 runs. India achieved this target in 6.1 overs without the loss of any wicket.
