Question 1. Where was the 30th National Children’s Science Congress organized?

Answer – In Ahmedabad

The 30th National Children’s Science Congress organized from 27 to 31 January at Science City, Ahmedabad. It was inaugurate by Vijay Nahera, Secretary, Gujarat Science and Technology Department. More than 1400 delegates including child scientists, escort teachers, evaluators and government officials participated in the 30th National Children’s Science Congress.

Question 2. Where did the Indian Army organize the “Trishakari Prahar” military exercise?

Answer – In North Bengal

The Indian Army conducted the joint training exercise “Trishatri Prahar” from January 21 to January 31, 2023. The exercise conducted with an aim to rehearse the combat preparedness of the security forces using latest weapons and equipment in a networked, integrated environment. It included the latest weapons of the country’s armies.

Question 3. For whom did the Delhi government organize ‘Jeevan Vidya Shivir’?

Delhi State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) organized this 5 day ‘Jeevan Vidya Shivir’ at Thyagaraj Stadium. This camp was organize from January 28 to February 1, 2023. Around 4,000 teachers from Delhi government schools participated in it. ‘Jeevan Vidya Shivir’ is a co-existence workshop based on the co-existence philosophy of A. Nagraj.

The Indian Coast Guard celebrates its Raising Day every year on 1 February. The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is the fourth largest Coast Guard force in the world. The ICG was established on 1 February 1977 by the Coast Guard Act, 1978 of the Parliament of India. 

Question 5. When is the World Inter-Religious Harmony Week celebrated?

Answer – 1 to 7 February 

‘World Inter-Religious Harmony Week’ celebrated every year in the first week of February. In 2010, King Abdullah II of Jordan presented a proposal to celebrate this week in the United Nations. The week calls for a worldwide celebration of peace between religions. Its goal is to bring people of all religions together.
