Lakshmi Singh has been posted as Police Commissioner in Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Singh will be the top cop of Noida. With this, Laxmi Singh has become the first woman officer to reach this rank in Uttar Pradesh. The UP state government has appointed Laxmi Singh, Inspector General of Police (IG), Lucknow range, as the first woman police commissioner of UP, giving her the charge of Noida.

Tamil Nadu is the worst performing state in this accountability report card with a disposal rate of 14%. Maharashtra is the second worst performing state in this report card with a disposal rate of 23%. Bihar State Information Commissioner (SIC) improved its performance significantly and has a disposal rate of 67%.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated the eight-lane long cable-stayed Zuari Bridge in Goa. Zuari Bridge is located between North Goa and South Goa. It connects NH 66 to the villages of Agakaim and Courtalim. The length of this Zuari Bridge is 640 meters. There are 13.20 km long roads on both sides of this bridge, which built in 3 phases.
