The policy acknowledges the role of space technology in various sectors such as disaster management, communication, weather forecasting, navigation, agriculture and defense.

China’s Space Pioneer has created history with the Tianlong-2 rocket. This Chinese company has achieved a historic achievement by launching its liquid-fueled Tianlong-2 rocket into orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Inner Mongolia on 2 April. The Tianlong-2 rocket also called Sky Dragon-2. This rocket has raised hopes of landing the ‘Love Space Science’ satellite on the Earth’s north polar orbit.

Tripura recently awarded as the best performing state for e-procurement in the North Eastern region.
