Answer – 75 rupees

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament House tomorrow i.e. on 28 May. A coin of Rs 75 will be launch on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House. This coin weighing 35 grams made of a mixture of 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper and 5-5 percent nickel and zinc metal. On the obverse of this coin, the denomination of Rs 75 written below the Ashoka pillar.

Question 2. Who introduced the UPI payment solution for feature phone users?

Answer – Gupshup.io

Recently Gupshup.io has provided UPI payment service for feature phone users from its native app called GPay. The app allows seamless payment experiences using the innovative approach SMS. This does not require internet service for UPI payments. Gupshup.io’s GSPay app empowers phone users to register for UPI, link their bank accounts and set UPI PIN on their phones.

The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has set up an 11-member Cheetah Project Steering Committee. The chairman of this committee is ‘Rajesh Gopal’, general secretary of the Global Tiger Forum. The decision to set up this committee has been take due to the death of 6 cheetahs brought as part of the translocation project in the last 2 months.

Question 4. Which became the first country to implement health warnings on alcohol?

Answer – Ireland

The Irish Health Minister, Stephen Donnelly, has approved a new policy implementing mandatory health advice on alcohol products. In Ireland the policy will come into effect from May 22, 2026 and with this Ireland will become the first to implement health warnings on alcohol. The policy will be implemented in the year 2026 with an aim to give liquor businesses in the country enough time to adjust to the new public health guidelines.

Answer – On 24 May

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) celebrates World Schizophrenia Day. This day celebrates with an aim to raise awareness about schizophrenia (mental illness). The day is celebrated to express sympathy for people with schizophrenia around the world and to raise the curtains on the challenges related to this disease.
