The fourth meeting of the National Level Steering Committee (NLSC) of Atal Bhujal Yojana held in the national capital New Delhi. The meeting chaired by the Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti. Atal Bhujal Yojana (Atal JAL) implemented as a Central Sector Scheme from April, 2020 to make the Gram Panchayats free from water crisis. The scheme launched in 8220 water-stressed Gram Panchayats of 229 administrative blocks/talukas in 80 districts of 7 states.

Senior bureaucrat Angshumali Rastogi appointed as India’s representative on the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada. Rastogi is an officer of the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME). Rastogi appointed in place of Shefali Juneja for three years.
