Question 1. Where was the 24th Capacity Building Program (CBP) inaugurated?

Answer – In Mussoorie

Recently 2 weeks 24th Capacity Building Program (CBP) was inaugurated at NCGG Complex, Mussoorie. This program has been started for the civil servants of Maldives. The National Center for Good Governance (NCGG) signed an MoU to enhance the skills and capacities of 1,000 Maldivian civil servants by the year 2024 in the field of public administration and governance. Till date has trained 685 civil servants of Maldives.

Question 2. Which Geological Survey of India Training Institute (GSITI) center has been recognized as “Excellence” by the Capacity Building Commission?

Answer – GSITI, Hyderabad

The National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) has accredited Geological Survey Training Institute of India (GSITI) as “Excellence”. NABET has given this recognition to GSITI for the excellent services rendered by them and for maintaining high standards in the field of Earth Science training. This assessment has been done on the basis of inspection of all standard operating procedures and practices adopted by the institute at various levels.

Question 3. What is the name of the fourth ship of the Survey Vessels (Large) project of M/s L&T, which has been launched on June 13, 2023?

Answer – Sanshodhak

Recently L&T/GRSE has launched ‘Sanshodhak’, the fourth of the four vessels developed for the Indian Navy under the Survey Vessels (Large) (SVL) project. The Sanshodhak ship was launched at Kattupalli in Chennai. VADM Adhir Arora, Chief Hydrographer, Government of India was the chief guest for the launch event.

Question 4. What is the name of the third ship of ASW SWC (GRSE)?

Answer – Anjdeep

Ship ‘Anjdeep’ built by M/s GRSE for the Indian Navy was launched on 13 June 2023 at M/s L&T, Kattupalli. The ship Anjdeep is the third of the eight ships of the ASW Shallow Water Craft (SWC) project. The launching ceremony was presided over by VADM RB Pandit, C-in-C (SFC).
