Recently, The Measles and Rubella Partnership honored India with the ‘Measles and Rubella Champion’ award. The award presented by The Measles and Rubella Partnership recognizes the country’s exemplary efforts in the prevention of measles and rubella diseases. Ambassador Sripriya Ranganathan, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, received the award at the event held on March 6, 2024 at the American Red Cross Headquarters, Washington DC.

Answer – James Anderson

England fast bowler James Anderson has become the first fast bowler in the world to take 700 wickets in the Test format of cricket. Along with this, he has also become the highest wicket taker for his country. He achieved this feat by dismissing Kuldeep Yadav in the 5th Test match played against India at Dharamshala ground. He is currently at third place in terms of taking most wickets in Tests. Before him, two spinners Muttiah Muralitharan (800) and Shane Warne (708) are at first and second position respectively.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has announced the establishment of Government Homeopathic College in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir at a cost of Rs 80 crore. This will be the first government homeopathic college in North India. This centrally funded college will make a significant contribution to the development of healthcare and education infrastructure. This college will be constructed in an area of 8 acres.
