Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) celebrated its 38th Foundation Day on 11 March 2024. Chairman and Managing Director Pradeep Kumar Das addressed the employees at the 38th Foundation Day celebrations of IREDA, highlighting the company’s achievements, challenges and future endeavors. IREDA has made immense contribution towards promoting renewable energy development in India for the last 38 years.

Answer – Asif Ali Zardari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has been sworn in as the 14th President of Pakistan. This oath was administered to him by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa in a ceremony organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Islamabad. Zardari has become Prime Minister for the second time after holding the office of President from 2008 to 2013.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has started a program called ‘Neengal Nalma’. Ningal Nalma means ‘Are you okay?’. True to its name, the objective of this scheme is to resolve the grievances of the public by reviewing the implementation of major schemes. Under this scheme, a web portal has been launched for public feedback.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Sabarmati Ashram and inaugurated the Kochrab Ashram and launched the master plan of the Gandhi Ashram Memorial. Mahatma Gandhi established the Kochrab Ashram on 25 May 1915 on his return from South Africa. This is Gandhiji’s first ashram in India, in which emphasis was laid on farming, cow rearing, khadi and creative activities.
