Indian Rudranksh Balasaheb Patil has topped the men’s 10m air rifle event at the ISSF World Cup 2023. In this event, Patil defeated Maximilian Ulbrich of Germany 16-8. However, at the time of the qualification round, Rudraksh was in seventh place with a score of 629.3. But after making it to the ranking round, he came out on top with a score of 262.0. India’s other two players Divyansh Singh Panwar and Hriday Hazarika finished 11th and 12th respectively.

The Central Government renamed the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) as the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) in the year 2017.

Churchgate Railway Station in Mumbai will now be known as ‘Chintamanrao Deshmukh Station’. Chintaman Dwarkanath Deshmukh (C D Deshmukh), was the first Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Deshmukh had joined RBI in 1939. He served in the RBI as Secretary to the Board, as Deputy Governor and as Governor. He was appointed as the Governor of RBI in August 1943. and served in that post till 1949.

The cost of this satellite of China has come to 333 million dollars. The Zhongxing-26 satellite was launch by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) on a Long March 3B rocket. This satellite will provide broadband connectivity for aviation and shipping related functions. CAST plans to launch 60 more in this year. Apart from this, China will launch a cargo craft Tianzhou-6 by the end of 2023.

E-commerce giant Amazon has announced that it will soon join the Indian government’s ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) platform. As part of its initial collaboration, Amazon will integrate its smart commerce and logistics services with ONDC Networks. These services also include pickup and delivery.
