Answer – Joha Chawal

Joha rice grown in the Northeast region of India is more effective in lowering blood glucose and preventing the onset of diabetes. It is a short grain winter rice. Rajalakshmi Devi and Paramita Chowdhary of the Institute for Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) have explored the nutraceutical properties of ‘Joha rice’. Researchers have used joha rice to make rice bran oil.

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has set up a state-of-the-art business center at the NBCC office complex in East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi. IREDA. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has inaugurated the construction of ‘Balidan Stambh’ in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on 24 June. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha was also present on this inauguration occasion. The monument is a part of the Srinagar Smart City project. During his visit, Union Minister Shah also visited Karan Mahal, the former residence of Karan Singh, the last crown prince of Jammu and Kashmir.
