IQAir company has ranked Mumbai as the second most polluted major global city due to poor air quality. National capital Delhi is at sixth place in this list. Mumbai’s AQI is 160, with concentrations of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) 14.7 times higher than WHO guidelines. Presently India is struggling with the problem of air pollution. Apart from Mumbai and Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pimpri, Nagpur, Pune, Hubli are also in the grip of air pollution.
