Whale shark is the largest fish in the world. International Whale Shark Day is observed on 30 August to raise awareness of its plight. This fish does not harm humans. In 2008, the International Whale Shark Convention was held at Isla Holbox, where the day was celebrated for the first time. The conference was attended by 40 ocean experts, activists and scientists. The topic of discussion in this conference was the conservation of whale sharks that have lived for 240 to 260 million years.

Apart from IDFC First Bank, only Sony Sports had shown interest in the deal, which again went in favor of IDFC.
