Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has won the ‘BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year’ for 2022. Mirabai Chanu is the silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympic Games. Chanu is from Manipur. This 28-year-old weightlifter won this award in the year 2021 as well. With this, she became the first athlete to win the award twice in a row.
