PM Modi will inaugurate the first National Training Conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first National Training Conference on 11 June 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s first National Training Conference on June 11, 2023. The convention will be held at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The aim of organizing this conference is to promote mutual cooperation among the training institutes across the country. The Prime Minister will also address on this occasion. Representatives of Administrative Services Training Institutes from across the country will participate in this conference. This will help in strengthening the training infrastructure for administrative officers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been an advocate of reforming the governance process and policy implementation in the country, through capacity building of the civil service. Under the guidance of this vision, the National Program for Administrative Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) – ‘Mission Karmayogi’ has been launch. So that with the right attitude, skills and knowledge, administrative service can be prepare according to the needs of the future. This conference is also a step in that direction.

What will happen in the first National Training Conference?

More than 1500 delegates will participate in the National Training Conference. These representatives will be from training institutes including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional and Zonal Training Institutes and Research Institutes. Administrative officers from Central Government Departments, State Governments, Local Governments as well as experts from the private sector will participate in the deliberations.

The gathering will encourage exchange of ideas and identify challenges and opportunities available. A comprehensive strategy will be prepare along with actionable solutions for capacity building. The conference will have 8 panel discussions. Each on key topics related to Administrative Services Training Institutes; such as faculty development, training impact assessment and content digitization etc.

What is Mission Karmayogi?

Mission Karmayogi is one of the largest capacity building initiatives in government organizations in the world. It aims to create an efficient civil service rooted in the Indian ethos, working in good faith for effective and efficient public service delivery. Mission Karmayogi was approved by the Union Cabinet of India in the year 2020. It focuses on making the Indian civil servant future ready by making them more creative, imaginative, innovative, proactive, professional, progressive, energetic, efficient, transparent and technology enabled.
