On 7 April 2023, President Draupadi Murmu organized this two-day festival at the playground of Kaziranga National Park High School in Assam. Cultural presentations including Jhumur, Bhortal, and Bihu dance forms also performed by Assamese artistes on the occasion. President Murmu also flagged off Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition-2023 on the occasion.

Through an announcement, the Automotive Tire Manufacturers Association (ATMA) has announced the selection of the new president of the association. JK Tire and Industries Limited’s Managing Director Anshuman Singhania has been appointe as the Chairman of ATMA. Singhania is a graduate from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Arnab Banerjee, Managing Director and CEO of CEAT Limited, has become the Vice President of ATMA.

Answer – Government of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TDCO) has developed a system called Tamil Nadu Regional Aerial Connectivity Through Helicopters (TN REACH). TN Reach Tantra aims to provide intercity and town connectivity by utilizing over 80 unserviceable helipads in the state. This mechanism will be used to leverage the National Civil Aviation Policy and Helicopter Policy of the Government of India.

Answer – Kerala State Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC)

Kerala State Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC) has launched a tourist boat. The name of this solar powered tourist boat is Sooryamshu. The power generation capacity of this boat is 27 kW. This boat also has a generator, which will help in running the lift and air conditioner in the boat. 75% of the boat’s energy requirements will be met by solar power. The boat has been built in Sri Lanka at a cost of Rs 3.95 crore.

Question 5. During his recent visit to Telangana, PM Modi inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express between which stations?

Answer – Secunderabad-Tirupati

Secunderabad Railway Station is being redeveloped to include a new iconic building and world-class facilities. Its total expenditure will be Rs 720 crore. This Vande Bharat Express will reduce the time distance between these two cities to 3 hours. This train is especially useful for pilgrims.
