AU Small Finance Bank has launched round the clock (24×7) Video Banking service for its customers. It has become the first bank in India to do so. AU Bank’s facility is a virtual platform for face-to-face interaction. In this the customer can interact with the video banker anytime and anywhere through video call. The bank’s executive director Uttam Tibrewal told that AU’s video banking service for customers will be operational even on holidays and weekends.

Recently, the Kerala Legislative Assembly has approved the proposal to change the name of the state to ‘Keralam’. In this, he has requested the Central Government to change the name of the state from ‘Kerala’ to ‘Keralam’. ‘Keralam’ is derived from two Malayalam words – “ker” and “alam”, which together mean ‘the land of coconut trees’.
