Answer – KM Chandrasekhar

KM Chandrasekhar has served as the Cabinet Secretary from 2007 to 2011. In his book “As Good as My Word”, he described his early academic career and college years in an autobiographical format. In this book, KM Chandrasekhar talks about his experiments in public administration, his experiences as India’s ambassador to the World Trade Organisation, his excellent working relationship with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, etc.

Answer – Punjab National Bank

Country’s public sector bank Punjab National Bank and Central Warehousing Corporation have signed MoU to facilitate farmers’ financing under Electronic Negotiable Warehousing Receipt (E-NWR). This partnership of PNB and Central Warehousing Corporation is to provide easy access to finance to farmers/food processors/traders against pledge of agriculture commodities stored in CWC warehouses.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar released the book “Mundka Upanishad: The Gateway to Eternity” by Indian philosopher and politician Dr. Karan Singh. This book was released by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the year 1987. In the present edition of this book, Dr. Kamal Kishore Mishra has also included Hindi translation of Dr. Karan Singh’s texts.

Answer – Colombia 

Colombia started this by conscripting 1,296 women into the Colombian army in February 2023. Colombia’s military currently has about 200,000 soldiers. In this, the number of women soldiers is 1%. All of these women soldiers had joined after attending military universities or applying for administrative jobs.

Answer – To Ram Chandra Paudel

Ram Chandra Poudel has become the President of Nepal with 33,800 electoral votes. Ram Chandra Poudel’s rival, Subhash Chandra Nembwang, standing on this post, got only 15,500 votes. Along with this, Ramchandra Paudel got votes from 352 members of provincial assemblies and 214 members of Parliament.
