Recently the Indian Navy participated in Exercise Cutlass Express – 24 (CE-24) conducted at Port Victoria, Seychelles. In this maritime exercise which ran from 26 February to 08 March 2024, the Indian Navy was represented by INS Tir, the lead ship of the 1st Training Squadron. Sponsored by U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), the exercise is led by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Carried by the Sixth Fleet.

This decision taken by the Odisha government aims to improve the work-life balance of women. Government employees (men) in the state will get 15 days of Casual Leave (CL) per year and women will get 25 days per year.
