Answer – Floodwatch
Central government has launched ‘Floodwatch’ mobile app to provide ‘real time’ information on flood situation in flood affected areas. The app will collect data from 338 stations to send real-time updates on floods in 23 states and union territories. The app has been launched by Kushwinder Vohra, chairman of the Central Water Commission (CWC). Up to 7 days forecast will be provided in this app.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the UDGAM (Unclaimed Deposits – Gateway to Access Information) portal to search for unclaimed deposits. This centralized web portal will help in making it easier for the consumers to search for unclaimed deposits across multiple banks at one place.

The country’s first 3D printed post office has been built in Bengaluru, the city called the tech capital of India. This post office has been set up at Cambridge Layout near Ulsoor, setting a new benchmark for efficiency, sustainability and design. This post office is spread over an area of 1,021 sq.ft. The construction work of this post office has been completed in just 43 days.

World Athletics Championships 2023 is being organized in Budapest, Hungary from 19th to 27th August. Hungary is organizing this championship for the first time. More than 2,000 athletes from more than 200 countries are participating in this championship. It is being held at the National Athletics Center located on Margaret Island in the center of Budapest. The capacity of this stadium is 38,000.
