Good Governance Day is celebrated every year on 25 December in India. This day marks the birthday of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had declared 25 December as Good Governance Day in the year 2014 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Atal Bihari ji was elected to the post of Prime Minister twice in the year 1996 and 1999.

Manipur State Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh has inaugurated the SAANS Campaign 2023-24 in Imphal for the prevention of pneumonia in the state. The campaign aims to tackle childhood pneumonia and raise public health awareness. Apart from this, Health Minister Singh also dedicated Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) as the State Neonatal Resource Centre.

Khelo India Youth Games will be organized in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Over 5500 athletes from all 36 states and union territories are expected to participate in this edition in the Under-18 category.
