Rangpo, Sikkim will be connected to Sivok, West Bengal through a 45 km rail line. The inauguration of Rangpo railway station is part of a larger initiative to enhance rail infrastructure in India.

President of African country Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune inaugurated the world’s third largest mosque ‘Djamaa el Djazaïr’. This is the largest mosque in Africa. Jama’a al-Jazair, situated at an altitude of 265 meters. It has a seating capacity of 120,000 worshippers. It is spread over a total of 27.75 hectares. The total cost of its construction was 900 million dollars.

India’s largest solar-battery energy storage system (BESS) was commissioned by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The capacity of this solar-battery project is: 40 MW / 120 MW BESS. Its solar PV plant capacity is 152.325 MW. Its dispatchable capacity is 100 MW AC (155.02 MW peak DC).

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the “Savera” program in the state. This is an unprecedented initiative aimed at early detection and prevention of breast cancer in women. The state government has started this program in collaboration with Medanta Foundation, which is a pioneer in breast cancer screening of visually impaired women. The Savera program is currently in its pilot phase. Its primary health center (PHC) is in Wazirabad.

This complex is expected to provide 4,000 jobs and investment of more than Rs 3000 crore.
