The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) is setting up India’s first Fisheries Atal Incubation Center in Kerala. A grant of ₹ 10 crore has been receive from NITI Aayog for the establishment of this Atal Incubation Center. The center will help solve problems faced by our marine ecosystems and fishing communities.

Union Education Minister launched ULLAS mobile app with a new slogan “Jana Jana Sakshar”. This mobile application facilitates basic literacy access.

The Maharashtra government has decided to give the first ‘Udyog Ratna’ award to veteran industrialist and Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata. The Industries Minister informed that awards will also given to young entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs and Marathi entrepreneurs.
