The Finance Minister has appreciated the role of State Bank of India in helping companies in international trade. SBI has become the oldest bank in Sri Lanka, serving for the last 159 years. During the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, India provided assistance of USD 1 billion through SBI Line of Credit.
