Diamond Jubilee of Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India
Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India (FFFAI) is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee on June 9, 2023. The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal is participating as the Chief Guest in this Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of FFFAI.
Shri Vivek Johri, Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) delivered the keynote address at the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of FFFAI. President, International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association, (FIATA) Dr. Ivan Petrov; Managing Director, International Federation of Customs Brokers Association (IFCBA) and President, Japan Customs Brokers Association, Mr. Seisaku Okafuji; and Mr. Mike Bhaskaran, Chief Operating Officer, DP World, participated as panelists during the event.

- The theme for the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India is “FFFAI Transcending Boundaries”.
- The event also saw the release of FFFAI, Diamond Jubilee Souvenir, Coffee Table Book and e-Bill of Lading (EBL) to benefit EXIM trade.
- FFFAI President Shri Shankar Shinde on the journey of 60 years of FFFAI said that it has been a long journey. Such an event provides an opportunity to honor the past, celebrate the present and welcome the future of a body that has contributed to the development of the country.
About Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India
Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India (FFFAI) is the apex national body of Customs Brokers in India. FFFAI was established in the year 1962. On 2nd December, 1962, the then Union Minister of Finance Late.ShriMorarjee Desai inaugurated the Federation of Customs Clearing Agents Associations Of India. The objective of its establishment is to project and promote EXIM business interests at national and international level with professionalism in all aspects of Customs Brokers and Logistics Service Providers. FFFAI is the sole representative of 30 member associations from all over India. It represents 6500 customs brokers. FFFAI employs more than 1,10,000 people.
