IICA and RRU sign MoU for academic and research collaboration
Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) have signed an MoU for academic and research collaboration.
The objective of this MoU is to synergize the professional capabilities of IICA and RRU towards capacity building, education, research and consultancy in the areas of internal security, financial crime, law enforcement, corporate fraud and other subjects. The MoU also provides for exchange of knowledge and resources between IICA and RRU for conducting research, training and consultancy.
Highlights of IICA and RRU MoU
- The MoU was sign by Professor Dr. Naveen Sirohi, IICA.
- On behalf of RRU, Dr. Dimple T. Rawal, Director, National Security and Law, proposed the vote of thanks along with clarifying the action plan.
- This agreement will enable the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs to provide security in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University. This will help prevent the most serious economic crimes such as corporate frauds।
- This collaboration between the two institutions is a significant step towards strengthening the existing financial system.
About IICA
The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), is a central civil services training institute. It comes under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India for central civil servants of the Indian Corporate Law Service cadre. The function of IICA is to handle and deal with various subjects, and matters in the field and spectrum of corporate affairs regulation, governance and policy.
IICA was establish in the year 2008 at Manesar, Haryana. It has been authoriz by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India to run Graduate Insolvency Programme. IICA provides policy support to the Government for CSR and conducts various training programs in CSR. Apart from this it also provides various services to corporates for CSR including impact assessment, need assessment, baseline survey, real time monitoring etc. It is the leading National Security and Police University of India.
