Recently, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT) and the Indian Navy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi.
Highlights of MoU between IIT Kharagpur and Indian Navy
- The major objective of this MoU is to promote technology development, promote innovative solutions and collaborate on joint research and development efforts.
- Domains encompassing propulsion systems, instrumentation, nanotechnology, robotics, quantum computing and more will be explored under this strategic partnership.
- Under this cooperation, efforts will be made for innovation and exchange of knowledge.
- The partnership will facilitate research projects sponsored by the Indian Navy to address critical challenges and advance technological capabilities.
