First conference of Army Commanders in hybrid mode.

The first conference of Army Commanders for the year 2024 will be held in hybrid mode. The conference will be held virtually on March 28, 2024, and then physically in New Delhi on April 01 and 02, 2024.

Key points of the conference held in hybrid mode

• The conference, starting from March 28, 2024, will be chaired by Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Manoj Pandey.
• In this conference, the Honorable Defense Minister will address the senior military leadership.
• The conference serves as an important platform for the top leadership of the Indian Army to brainstorm on conceptual issues, review and assess the overall security situation.
• This will set key priorities that will facilitate important policy decisions in the future.
• Army commanders will participate in the conference virtually from the headquarters of their respective commands. In this, important agendas affecting the welfare of the Army and ex-servicemen will be discussed.
• The emerging geopolitical scenario and its impact on national security will also be discussed by eminent experts in this conference.
• During the event to be held virtually on 01 April 2024, the top leadership of the Army will engage in intensive brainstorming sessions.
• The conference will also cover issues related to the welfare of service personnel with the aim of improving life for soldiers and their families.

• The conference will be followed by a meeting of the Investment Advisory Committee of Army Group Insurance under the chairmanship of COAS, in which many experts in the field of financial management will participate.
• This committee will deliberate on various welfare measures and schemes for the financial security of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families.
