TOT launch of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technology/product booklet and thermal camera for industry
Recently, the indigenous technologies of thermal camera designed and developed by CDAC Thiruvananthapuram under InTranSE program of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology have been transferred to M/s Aditya Infotech (CP Plus).
It is an initiative towards the Innovation, Science and Technology theme of Developed India@2047.
Thermal camera
- This camera has an inbuilt Data Processing Unit (DPU) to run various AI based analytics.
- Smart cameras will be used in many areas like cities, industries, defense and health etc.
- Field implementation, testing and validation of this camera was done for road traffic applications.
ITS Technology/Product Handbook
The technologies/products/solutions developed by R&D Group, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology under the InTranSE program for traffic control, public transport, road safety, sensors for traffic applications etc. have been launched in the form of a booklet.
InTranSE
The InTranSE program launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is an initiative to promote training and human resource development in the Information Technology (IT) sector in India.
Objective
- To promote the latest research in areas such as high-performance computing, big data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- To provide state-of-the-art training to IT professionals and scholars in industry and academia.
- To promote research and development activities in related fields in India.
- To develop highly skilled human resources through specific training programs and courses.
