Amrit Udyan is again opening for public for a month under Udyan Utsav-II. Amrit Udyan will be open to the public for one month (except Mondays) from August 16, 2023. In this, you can get entry passes for excursions through online booking or through self-service kiosks. This garden will be exclusively reserved for teachers on 5th September. The objective of Udyan Utsav-II is to showcase summer annual flowers to the visitors of Amrit Udyan.

Amrit Udyan was opened to the public from January 29 to March 31, 2023 under Udyan Utsav-I. At that time more than 10 lakh people had come to see the garden. This time booking for visiting Amrit Udyan can be started online from 7th August 2023. The tour of Amrit Udyan has been kept free for the public. Visitors to the garden can obtain entry passes from the self-service kiosk near Gate No. 35.

Visitors can also visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum by booking a slot online on the official website of Rashtrapati Bhavan. The museum ticket has been kept free for the students of government schools during Udyan Utsav-II.

About Amrit Udyan

The “Amrit Udyan” at Rashtrapati Bhavan was earlier known as the Mughal Garden. On the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, the Mughal Garden has been renamed as ‘Amrit Udyan’ under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Amrit Udyan is spread over 15 acres. Because of the beauty of the garden, it is called the soul of Rashtrapati Bhavan. This garden was designed by the English architect ‘Sir Edwin Lutyens’. Edwin Lutyens had also given the design of Delhi.
