The Commonwealth Games 2022 are being held in Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022 and India’s performance is good. Presently India has won 61 medals based on the best performance of the players. The Commonwealth Games commonly known as Birmingham 2022. It is an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations. India’s performance in Commonwealth Games:

India continues to do well in the 22nd edition of the CWG. India has won 61 medals, including 22 gold in the Commonwealth Games. 3 Gold won by Weightlifters and 1-1 Gold Lawn Bowls team and Table Tennis Team. India surely win many madel till end of CWG 2022.

Gold Medal:

  1. India’s Firstly gold medal won by Mirabai Chanu in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the weightlifting gold women’s 49kg category.
  2. Secondly gold medal won by Jeremy Lalrinnunga in the Golden Men’s 67kg category in the weightlifting event.
  3. Thirdly gold won by Achinta Sheuli in the men’s 73kg category of weightlifting.
  4. The Indian women’s team (Lovely, Roopa, Pinky and Nayanmoni) won the country gold in the Lawn Bowls.
  5. In Table Tennis, the Indian men’s team (Sharat Kamal, Harmeet Desai and G Sathiyan) won the fifth gold medal for the country.
  6. Sudhir won the gold medal in Para Powerlifting Gold Men’s Heavyweight.
  7. Bajrang Punia won gold in men’s 65kg freestyle wrestling.
  8. Sakshi Malik won the gold medal in women’s 62 kg freestyle wrestling.
  9. Finally Deepak Poonia won the gold medal in Men’s 86kg Freestyle Wrestling.
  10. Another gold medal for india, Ravi Kumar Dahiya won the men’s 57kg freestyle wrestling.
  11. Vinesh Phogat won the gold medal in women’s 53kg freestyle wrestling.
  12. Naveen Kumar won the gold medal in wrestling by defeating Mohammad Sharif Tahir of Pakistan 9-0 in the 74kg weight category.
  13. Bhavina Patel surely won Gold Medal in Women’s Singles Para Table Tennis.
  14. Amit Panghal has won Gold Medal in Men’s Flyweight 51kg Boxing.
  15. In athletics, Eldhose Paul won the gold medal in the men’s triple jump.
  16. Neetu Ghangas has won the gold medal in women’s 48 kg minimum weight boxing.
  17. Nikhat Zareen won Gold in Women’s 50kg Light Flyweight Boxing on the basis of her best performance.
  18. Sharath Kamal and Sreeja Akula won gold medal in mixed doubles table tennis.
  19. Then Sharath Kamal won the gold medal in Men’s Singles Table Tennis.
  20. Indian badminton PV Sindhu finally won gold medal in women’s singles badminton.
  21. Lakshya Sen won Gold in Men’s Singles Badminton.
  22. Satwik Sairaj, Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty won gold in men’s doubles badminton.

Silver Medal:

  1. Sanket Sargar won silver medal in men’s 55kg event of weightlifting event.
  2. Bindiyarani Devi won the silver medal for the country in the weightlifting women’s 55 kg category.
  3. In weightlifting, India got a silver in the men’s 96 kg category by Vikas Thakur.
  4. In mixed team badminton, the Indian mixed team (PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and Satwik-Chirag) won the silver medal for their excellent performance.
  5. Sushila Devi won silver medal in women’s 48 kg judo.
  6. Indian Judo player Tulika Mann won the women’s +78 kg silver medal.
  7. Murali Sreeshankar won the country silver in the men’s long jump.
  8. Anshu Malik won silver medal in women’s 57 kg wrestling.
  9. Priyanka Goswami won the Silver Medal in the Women’s 10,000m Race Walk (Athletics).
  10. Another silver medal won by Avinash Sable in Men’s 3000m steeplechase (Athletics).
  11. Indian men’s team won silver medal in men’s lawn bowls.
  12. Abdullah Abubakar won the silver medal in Men’s Triple Jump (Athletics).
  13. The pair of Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan won the silver medal in Men’s Doubles Table Tennis.
  14. Indian women’s team has won silver medal in women’s T20 cricket.
  15. Sagar Ahlawat was the winner of Silver Medal in Men’s 92+ kg Super Heavyweight Boxing.
  16. The Indian men’s hockey team continued its good performance in men’s hockey and won the silver medal.

Bronze Medal:

  1. Gururaja Pujari won the men’s 61kg weightlifting bronze medal.
  2. Harjinder Kaur won bronze medal in Women’s 71kg Weightlifting.
  3. In men’s 109 kg weightlifting, Lovepreet Singh also won the bronze medal.
  4. Vijay Kumar Yadav won Bronze medal for India in Judo Men’s 60 Kriga.
  5. Saurav Ghosal won the bronze in the men’s singles category of squash.
  6. Gurdeep Singh won Bronze medal in Men’s 109+ kg Weightlifting.
  7. Tejaswin Shankar won India’s first medal in high jump by winning bronze in the mess high jump.
  8. Divya Kakran won the bronze medal in the Wrestling Women’s 68kg freestyle.
  9. Mohit Grewal won bronze medal in men’s 125kg wrestling.
  10. Jasmine Lamboria won the bronze medal in women’s 60kg lightweight boxing.
  11. Pooja Gehlot has won the bronze medal in the name of the country in women’s 50 kg freestyle wrestling.
  12. Pooja Sihag won Bronze in Women’s 76kg Freestyle Wrestling.
  13. In Men’s 97kg Freestyle Wrestling, Deepak Nehra won the bronze medal.
  14. Mohammad Husamuddin was successful in winning the bronze medal in men’s 57kg featherweight boxing.
  15. Rohit Tokas won bronze in Men’s 67kg Welterweight Boxing.
  16. Women’s Singles Para Table Tennis Sonalben Patel finally won the bronze medal.
  17. The women’s hockey team won the bronze medal in hockey and gave the country a medal in hockey after 16 years.
  18. Sandeep Kumar won Bronze in Men’s 10000m Race Walk (Athletics).
  19. Annu Rani has won bronze medal in Women’s Javelin Throw (Athletics).
  20. Finally Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghoshal won the bronze medal in mixed doubles squash.
  21. Kidambi Srikanth won bronze in men’s singles badminton.
  22. Trisha Jolly, Pullela Gayatri Gopichand won Bronze Medal in Women’s Doubles Badminton.
  23. Sathiyan Gananasekaran won bronze in Men’s Singles Table Tennis.
