This campaign has been started under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ organized by Brahma Kumaris. Speaking on the occasion, President Murmu said that drug abuse is a matter of concern for the society and the country. Indian woman wrestler Priya Malik created history by winning the gold medal in the 76kg category at the Under-20 World Championship 2023. With this, Priya has become the second Indian woman wrestler to win gold in the Junior World Championships. Malik won the medal by defeating Laura Kuehn of Germany with a decisive score of 5-0. Priya had won a silver medal in this championship last year.

This banana is also called ‘baby banana’ because it is usually 2.5 to 3 cm long.

Indian wrestler Mohit Kumar won the gold medal in the 61 kg category of the Under-20 World Champion. He defeated Eldar Akhmadudiniev 9–8 for the medal. The initial swing of the match was in favor of Akhmadudiniev. Initially down 0-6, Mohit came back to win the gold medal.
