Question 1. Who has launched India’s first green hydrogen fusion project in Kawas?

Answer – NTPC Limited

India’s largest power company NTPC Limited has commissioned the country’s first green hydrogen blending project. NTPC is supplying Piped Natural Gas (PNG) blended with Green Hydrogen Gas through Gujarat Gas Limited Piped Natural Gas (PNG) network at Kawas Township, Surat. Hydrogen mixed PNG will used for cooking.

Question 2. Which state government has recently started the Chief Minister’s Sukhashraya Sahayata Kosh?

Answer – Himachal Pradesh

On January 1, 2023, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has launched the Chief Minister Sukhashraya Sahayata Kosh with an outlay of Rs 101 crore. All ministers and Congress MLAs will contribute their first salary to this fund. Through this fund, facilities will be provided to needy children and destitute women. No income certificate will be required to avail these facilities.

Answer – China

China has become the first country in Asia and the second country in the world to launch hydrogen-powered urban trains. Before China, Germany became the first country in the world in September 2022 to introduce hydrogen-powered trains. The Chinese company CRRC Corporation Limited made this train for China. The maximum speed of this train is 160 km per hour. Once refueled, it can run up to 600 km.

Question 5. Who is the first woman officer to posted at Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield?

Answer – Captain Shiva Chauhan

For the first time in the history of the Indian Army, a woman officer posted at the world’s highest battlefield ‘Siachen’. This lady officer is Captain Shiva Chauhan of the Fire and Fury Corps of the Army. Captain Chauhan has been posted at Kumar Post for a tenure of three months from 3 January. The Siachen Glacier, situated at an altitude of about 20 thousand feet in the Karakoram range, is known as the world’s highest military battlefield.
