PIB launches a media facilitation portal for information related to General Elections 2024
Recently, Press Information Bureau (PIB) has launched a microsite (https://pib.gov.in/elect2024/index.aspx) equipped with various features as a holistic ‘facilitation portal’ for media persons reporting on General Elections 2024.
Features of Media facilitation Portal
- A digital flip book: This will include various analytics and data-based features. Media persons can use it for their articles.
- Through the link, journalists can access relevant parts of the ECI website.
- Various infographics are provided as reference and make it easier to understand the data.
- The schedules of various phases of General Elections 2024 are provided in the form of ready reckoner.
- In this, updates about Election Commission (ECI) notifications are uploaded on real-time basis.
- Information about national and state level Election Commission (ECI) officials is given.
- A compendium of various ECI directives, including a media guide, has been made easily available.
- Media persons will be kept updated on the latest developments.
