NuGen Mobility Summit 2019

NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 was an important conference which was organized on 6-7 November 2019 in New Delhi. The conference was organized by Nugen Institute of Mobility and Technology (NuMOT). Nugen is a non-profit organization that works in the communications, mobility and technology sector in India.

The theme of this conference was “Reimagining Mobility: For a Sustainable Future”. It discussed various aspects of future mobility, such as electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, shared mobility and hyper-connectivity. The conference was attended by experts, policy makers, industry leaders and startup founders related to technology, mobility and sustainable development. The major participants were:

• Mary Barra, global mobility policy maker and co-founder of the Climate Action Network.
• Sumant Sahay, Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog.
• V.K. Saxena, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Vehicles and Road Transport, Government of India.
• Abhijit Banerjee, co-founder of MIT and AB Economics.
• Sumant Chatterjee, Managing Director and CEO of Axis Bank.
• Deepak Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Reva Electric Vehicles.

The conference featured a total of over 40 speakers and panelists who shared their views on various aspects of mobility and technology. The conference provided an important platform by highlighting new developments and opportunities in the mobility sector. This conference played an important role in understanding and determining the future of mobility and technology in India.
