Question 1. When is the CISF Raising Day celebrated?

Answer – On 10 March

This year the 54th Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day was celebrated. The day marks the establishment of the CISF in the year 1969. The contribution made by CISF members is honored on this day with processions, demonstrations of special attacks and displays of martial arts. Medals are also awarded to the Honorable Members for their distinguished service.

Question 2. Who became the first Indian-American judge in New York Court?

Answer – Arun Subramanian

Attorney Arun Subramanian has been appointed as the first Indian American judge in the Manhattan Federal District Court in New York. US President Joe Biden first made Mr Subramaniam’s nomination public in September 2022. Subramaniam’s nomination was confirmed by the Senate by a vote of 58 against 37. Subramaniam has been working as a partner at Sussman Godfrey LLP in New York since 2007.

Answer – On 10 March

‘International Women Judges Day’ is celebrated with the aim of honoring all the women judges who have taken the lead in the fight against social injustice. International DUNGA implemented resolution 75/274 on April 28, 2021 to celebrate this day.

Question 4. Who started his third term as the President of China?

Answer – Xi Jinping

Xi Jinping began his third term as China’s president after receiving unanimous support from the 2,977-member National People’s Congress (NPC). Now he will again run the world’s second largest economy for the next five years. Along with the President, Jinping also took the constitutional oath as army chief.

Question 5. When was World Kidney Day 2023 observed?

Answer – 9 March

World Kidney Day is celebrated every year on the second Thursday of March. The purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about the importance of kidneys for our health. The theme of this year’s World Kidney Day is ‘Kidney health for all – preparing for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable’. The day was initiated by the International Society of Nephrology and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations and was first observed in 2006.
