Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the International Lawyers Conference 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. It is noteworthy that for the first time an International Lawyers Conference is being organized in India. Its theme: ‘Emerging Challenges in the Justice Delivery System’. Addressing this conference, the Prime Minister said that the International Lawyers Conference 2023 should become a symbol of the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

The International Lawyers Conference 2023 based on the theme ‘Emerging Challenges in the Justice Delivery System’ is being organized by the Bar Council of India on September 23-24, 2023. This conference aims to provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and discussion on various legal topics. Issues of national and international importance will also be discussed in this conference. Your thoughts and experiences will be exchanged. Apart from this, international cooperation and understanding on legal subjects will be strengthened. Its objective is to act as a forum for meaningful dialogue and discussion on various legal topics of national and international importance, to promote exchange of ideas and experiences and to strengthen international cooperation and understanding on legal issues.
ILC for the first time in India
Emerging legal trends, challenges of cross-border litigation, legal technology, environmental law etc. will be discussed in the International Lawyers Conference being organized for the first time in India. The conference was also attended by eminent judges, legal professionals and experts from the global legal community. The chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of the conference is Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and the special guests are Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and Britain’s Justice Minister Alex Chalk Casey. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the conference on September 24.
